Bond Rite Remote EP Power Supply

For applications requiring grounding for more than 6 hours per day, the Bond-Rite REMOTE EP (Externally Powered) uses a 220/240V AC or 110/120V AC mains supply to power each indicator station’s monitoring circuit.

The intrinsically safe (I.S.) ground monitoring circuit, powered by the supply, can be located in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas, with the indicator stations placed in the zoned (classified) area.

When paired with the Newson Gale Universal power supply, up to 10 Bond-Rite REMOTE EP stations can be powered simultaneously, allowing independent monitoring of up to 10 items at risk of charging (e.g., drums).

A key advantage of this configuration is that the power supply can be installed within the hazardous area. For further details, refer to the ATEX/IECEx or CSA technical specification PDFs for the Bond-Rite REMOTE EP.

FEATURES

  • A highly visible LED in the grounding clamp confirms when a low-resistance connection is achieved with potentially charged equipment.
  • Tungsten carbide tips penetrate deposits, rust, and coatings to ensure reliable bonding.
  • Stainless steel construction ensures durability in harsh chemical processing and industrial environments.
  • Quick Connect feature enables easy removal from classified areas for battery replacement.
  • Monitors 10-ohm loop resistance in accordance with international best practice standards.
  • IEC 60079-32 – Explosive atmospheres: electrostatic hazards, guidance
  • NFPA 77 – Recommended Practice on Static Electricity
  • Indicator station mounted stowage pin provides operators with a location to return the grounding clamp when the operation is finished
